In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Allison Williams and Violet McGraw, the stars of the highly anticipated sequel M3GAN 2.0, opened up about their unbreakable bond that has grown stronger with time.
The 37-year-old actress, who plays Gemma in the horror film, revealed that she made a crucial mistake early on in their relationship - she preferred Harry Potter to Lord of the Rings. McGraw, now 14, was a hardcore Lord of the Rings fan and didn't talk to Williams for a while after that. However, all is well now, and the two have bonded over their shared love for Harry Potter, Taylor Swift, and more.

Williams recalled that when McGraw showed up on set for the sequel, she was thrilled to learn that the young actress had binge-watched all the Harry Potter movies and had become obsessed. Their bond grew stronger as they sang Taylor Swift songs between takes and even learned trending TikTok dances together.
McGraw praised Williams, calling her "legit one of the funniest people" and appreciated how she always looked out for her on set. Williams, in turn, praised McGraw's professionalism and kindness, saying that she was impressed by the young actress's ability to balance her age and profession.
The two also shared a sweet gesture that Williams did to surprise McGraw on the first day of filming the sequel. Williams asked McGraw about her favorite snacks and surprised her with a huge basket filled with all her favorites, including Dr. Pepper, which is hard to find in New Zealand.

As they gear up for the release of M3GAN 2.0, Williams and McGraw are excited to share their bond with the world. "We are sisters forever," Williams said, and it's clear that their friendship is one that will last a lifetime.
