The upbeat pop song's second verse has Rapp singing, "I took my sex life with me, now the show ain't f---ing / Leave me alone, bitch, I wanna have fun."

Rapp portrayed the character of Leighton Murray on "The Sex Lives of College Girls" for its first two seasons before announcing her exit in July 2023. She appeared on the third season in a recurring role, only appearing on the first two episodes.
In March, HBO Max announced the show was canceled after three seasons.
Rapp's castmate and close friend Alyah Chanelle Scott spoke to PEOPLE about the "Too Much" artist's exit from the show in December 2024.

"As sad as I was to say goodbye to her, it never felt like I was actually saying goodbye because we literally live three minutes away from each other," Scott said at the time. "So I was like, 'I'm crying because you're not going to be at work, I guess, but I'll see you at home.'"
"Leave Me Alone" serves as the lead single off Rapp's upcoming second album, "Bite Me," set for an August 1 via Interscope Records.
